This Privacy Policy explains what information DecodeMyDestiny (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you use our website and services, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have. By using the site you confirm you have read this policy and agree to our processing of your information as described below.
1. Who we are
DecodeMyDestiny is operated by Claudio Romanazzi OÜ, a private limited company organised under the laws of the Republic of Estonia. References to “we” in this policy mean Claudio Romanazzi OÜ. 2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Birth date (month, day, year) — to calculate your Personal Year and zodiac.
- Email address — to deliver your reading and follow-up content.
- Quiz responses — age range, relationship status, primary life concern (love / money / career / health).
- Consent records — when you opt-in to marketing or partner offers.
- Survey or sponsor-question answers — your yes/no responses to optional partner offers (see Section 5).
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & browser — IP address, user-agent string, screen size, operating system, browser type.
- Behaviour — pages visited, time on page, referring URL, click events, completion funnel step.
- Identifiers — cookie IDs, click IDs from tracking partners, push subscription IDs (if you opt-in to push notifications).
- Approximate location — country/region derived from IP for geo-targeting and compliance.
2.3 Information we do NOT collect
- We do not collect government-issued IDs, social-security numbers, financial-account numbers, or full payment details.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
- We do not store the precise birth time, only the date.
3. How we use your information
- To calculate and deliver your numerology reading.
- To send you email content you opted in to receive (welcome reading, follow-up sequence, daily horoscope if you enable it).
- To personalise content (e.g., concern-based affiliate recommendations, zodiac-flavoured daily readings).
- To measure and improve our service (analytics, conversion tracking).
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
- To comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
4. Legal bases (EU/UK users)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your data on the following bases:
- Consent — for marketing emails, partner offer sharing, push notifications, and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract performance — to deliver the reading you requested.
- Legitimate interest — for analytics, fraud prevention, and service improvement, balanced against your privacy interests.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law.
5. With whom we share your information
We share information with the following categories of recipients. We do not sell your information for monetary consideration to data brokers without an explicit consent signal from you. Some sharing, however, may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law — see Section 9 for your CCPA rights.

- Hosting & CDN — Cloudflare, Hetzner Online.
- Analytics & attribution — Bemob (conversion tracking).
- Push notifications — OneSignal (web push delivery).
- AI content generation — OpenAI (anonymised inputs for content generation, never includes your email or identifiers).
5.2 Marketing partners (only with your specific consent at the email gate)
If you check the “share with partners” box on our email form, we may share your email and quiz responses with partners in the following categories:
- Live psychic / numerology / astrology platforms (e.g., Kasamba, California Psychics, Mysticsense, Psychic Source, Keen)
- Dating services (e.g., Match, SilverSingles)
- Mental wellness platforms (e.g., BetterHelp, Talkspace, Calm, Headspace)
- Career & learning (e.g., Skillshare, LinkedIn Premium, BetterUp)
- Financial services (e.g., Credit Karma, National Debt Relief, Freedom Debt Relief, debt-relief CPL partners)
- Insurance services (auto, life, health Marketplace, Medicare advantage / supplement)
- Co-registration aggregators (AfterOffers, OptIntelligent, EmailFlow) which route inquiries to vetted partners
- Identity-graph & audience-data partners (LiveRamp, Lotame, V12 Data) — only hashed (not raw) email matching
5.3 Advertising & analytics networks
- Native advertising networks (MGID, Revcontent, Outbrain, Taboola)
- Push notification networks (PropellerAds, Pushnami, SubscriberZ, Push.House, Adsterra)
- CPA networks (MaxBounty, ClickDealer, CrakRevenue, AdGate)
- Identity / cookie-graph providers (AddShoppers, Lasso AI, Aragon AI)
5.4 Legal & corporate
- Law-enforcement or government bodies when required by valid legal process.
- Successors in a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, asset sale) — recipients are bound by an equivalent privacy commitment.
- Professional advisors (lawyers, auditors) under confidentiality.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies

7. International data transfers
We are based in Estonia (European Union). Our service providers and partners may be located in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and other countries. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (or equivalent legal mechanisms).
8. How long we keep your information
- Email subscribers: retained while you remain subscribed plus 90 days after unsubscribe for suppression-list compliance.
- Quiz responses: retained 24 months from last interaction.
- Cookie / push subscriber records: 13 months from last activity.
- Postback / conversion logs: 24 months for accounting and fraud-investigation purposes.
- You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 9 / 10).
9. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:
- Right to know what personal information we collected, used, disclosed, and (where applicable) sold or shared.
- Right to delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt-out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. Use our Do Not Sell My Personal Information portal.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined under CPRA).
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising the above rights.

10. EU / UK / Swiss residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@decodemydestiny.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
11. Marketing emails & push notifications
- You may unsubscribe from all marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email or via our unsubscribe endpoint.
- You may stop daily horoscope emails specifically via the horoscope opt-out endpoint while remaining subscribed to other content.
- You may disable web push notifications via your browser settings or our preferences page.
12. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage at rest, access controls, and routine monitoring. No system is 100% secure; if we become aware of a personal-data breach affecting you, we will notify you as required by law.
13. Children
Our service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect or use information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact privacy@decodemydestiny.com and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, take additional steps to notify you (such as an email to subscribers). Your continued use of the site after the effective date of an updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
